Geospatial Analyst

About Me
I'm a Geospatial Analyst and Part 107 Remote Pilot with an earth science and environmental science background with over 17 years of GIS and earth science experience. I have B.S. degrees in both Environmental Science and Geology and an M.S. in Geology. I earned a GIS Certificate in 2016 and have worked primarily in the utilities sector editing water, electric, and plat data.
I've been involved in full lifecycle projects from field data collection to data analysis working with clients to provide geospatial solutions. I have experience developing interactive web maps, remote sensing and image analysis, spatial data modeling, and Python scripting.

I enjoy working on multidisciplinary teams with people who value diverse thinking. I appreciate a work environment in which everyone has genuine respect for each other and the work performed together. I'm also very comfortable and efficient working independently and like seeing projects to completion. I have strong organizational skills and am detail-oriented which spurs a deep drive for creating high quality maps with accurate data. I believe that a thoughtful, well-intentioned map can communicate to an audience an idea that words may struggle to convey.
